Some of Umair Hassan’s earliest memories is the yearning to be able to play the keyboard to perfection and become a music arranger. Working as an assistant for the renowned producer, Shiraz Uppal since 2013, Hassan officially started out as a keyboardist and a composer/arranger in 2007.

Formally trained by Imran Akhtar and Saleem Merchant, he has contributed to various original soundtracks for films such as Bin Roye and Karachi Say Lahore, and has had the opportunity to perform with Atif Aslam and Gul Panra to name a few.

Umair Hassan will feature on Coke Studio, Season 9 for the first time as a guest musician.
